How to Join

NPHC organizations take new members into their organizations through a process called membership intake. This process is organized by each chapter individually, but all processes include selection of candidates, education about the organization, and ends with initiation and full membership.

Students interested in joining any of the NPHC organizations must attend NPHC 101. NPHC 101 is a program organized by the council to provide interested students with more information about the chapters, membership intake, and the expectations of fraternity and sorority life at the University of Kentucky. This program is mandatory for students prior to their participation in membership intake.

The Fall 2015 NPHC 101 program will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 6pm in White Hall room 118. You can learn more about NPHC 101 at the NPHC 101 page located here.

The links below will provide you with more information about each organization's process based upon their international standards. You can contact Emily Britt, Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs and the NPHC advisor, for more information or you can contact the organization directly. Contact information for chapters can be found here.
