Fraternities and sororities have a rich tradition at the University of Kentucky, starting in the 1890s and continuing to provide support, friendship, and leadership to fraternity and sorority members and the UK community. Being a member of a fraternity or sorority is a great way for students to be involved, form lifelong friendships, participate in community service and philanthropic endeavors, and increase their leadership skills. The Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Office promotes the success of organizations and students though education, consultation and advocacy.
The University of Kentucky has 49 different fraternities and sororities on campus and over 6,000 individual members. More information about our chapters, governing councils, and programs can be found in the tabs and links on this page.
